I offer private lessons for piano, guitar, and drums! I teach jazz, rock, classical, pop, country, EDM–you name it. I also offer sessions on music theory & production.
Age Range: I work with high school students and adults of all ages.
Rate: Lessons are $50 for a 45 minute lesson, and I offer a 10% package discount when you purchase 8 or more lessons.
Teaching Method: every student is different, so I like to adapt my teaching method to each student’s learning style and goals. I am comfortable teaching in a traditional style–sight reading, music theory, technique exercises, etc–but I also love working with folks who prefer to learn by ear and take advantage of newer approaches & technologies. Many of my students end up going with a blend of the two methods, which I think works great.
Scheduling: I try to make my scheduling system as flexible as possible–students can sign up for regular weekly or biweekly lessons, or simply book lessons one at a time at whatever interval works best for them. I use an online scheduler that makes booking & rescheduling lessons very easy. Lessons typically take place between noon and 8PM, 7 days a week.
Location: Lessons take place either at my home studio or online. My home studio is located at 555 E 10th Ave, Denver, CO 80203, in Cap Hill.
